From Cork Airport (2 hours)
To travel from Cork Airport to Allihies, take the N71 to Bandon (West Cork). In Bandon, at the bridge, turn right onto the R586 (signposted for Dunmanway and Bantry) and follow the signs to Bantry and Glengarriff. You’ll rejoin the N71 in Bantry.  Continue on to Glengarriff.   At the end of the village, turn left following the R572 to Castletownbere. Drive through Castletownbere, taking the R572 (then R575) towards Allihies (about 11 miles). You’ll see the village ahead of you, and about 500 metres before the village take a sharp right at the Beach View B&B sign. Turn left into the grounds of Beach View House.

From Killarney/Kenmare (2 hours/ 1 hour)
Follow the N71, signposted for Kenmare(travelling along a section of the Ring of Kerry route). After entering Kenmare, continue on the N71 signposted for Bantry and shortly after travelling over the Kenmare Bridge, take a right turn signposted for the Beara peninsula/ Castletownbere (R571). Drive onwards through Ardgroom and on past Eyeries and take a right turn onto the R575, signposted for Allihies, and remain on the R575 following signs for Allihies village. Drive through the village, passing the local church and museum, leave the village and drive on for about 500 metres, stay left at the junction for the beach and at the next small junction, follow the sign for the Beach View B&B to reach us!
